‘The greatest gift’

The article about Lonnie Braxton III in The Day on July 03 truly touched my heart. My Mom, Inez Broccoli, volunteered as a foster grandparent from the inception of the program until she was 80 years old (20 years). She loved the children and adults she cared for and would be the first to tell you they were truly “the greatest gift.” They were full of smiles and brought joy to her life, and she felt blessed to be a part of theirs.

In loving memory of my Mom and two of her “greatest gifts,” Scott Downey and Debbie Lentini.
