    Unlawful aerial fireworks

The annual July Fourth celebration with picnics and parades and so forth is an American tradition that is enjoyed by Americans including me and my veteran wife. With that said, "Aerial fireworks are not allowed BY LAW in Connecticut for use by anyone without a professional license." Just after 9 p.m. Sunday July 2, about three blocks over from my home, there was an incredible loud aerial display lasting a good five or more minutes. To those revelers, I hope you had a wonderful time with your unexpected celebration. As a Vietnam Combat veteran (Brown Water Navy Gunners Mate '67-69), this unexpected illegal show was NOT APPRECIATED!
