Friday’s Sept. 1, guest editorial in The Day by lawyer Susan Estrich was an eye-opener. (“The Bidens are like most families.”) A lawyer who doesn’t know what Hunter Biden did wrong? Well, how about illegally purchasing a hand gun and evading taxes for starters?

Her rose-colored glasses were in full view and her white privilege is showing, too. Her statement, “He should get what he deserves” caveat was interesting. Apparently that would be nothing, as her lauded special counsel was the guy who gave Hunter the sweetheart plea deal in the first place!

And old Joe is just a loving dad putting up with a son’s shenanigans. Apparently Estrich has never heard of Devon Archer or his testimony. I am not defending Trump; I wish he and Biden would both just go away. However, if only the press had had the motivation to ferret out the anti-Trump “dossier” and expose the whole attack on Trump for what it is, as they are now pursuing the Bidens’ connections. Oh, never mind, the press is not pursuing those connections either.
