Designers gazed into their crystal balls and saw a spring where vivid colors combined with a quirky pattern or three. Alber Elbaz for Lanvin showed elegant evening frocks with abstract botanical motifs; Miuccia Prada paired banana-print blouses with boldly striped skirts, and Duro Olowu designed a collection constructed from a patchwork of tribal prints.
