Council candidate to hold fundraiser

New London - A campaign fundraiser for City Council candidate Michael Passero will be held Thursday at the home of Joyce and George Grabel at 210 Ocean Ave.

The suggested donation is $25 per person and $40 per couple. The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.

Passero, a lifelong resident of New London, is a first-time candidate for council, running on the Democratic ticket. He is a member of the New London Fire Department and is a labor attorney with the law firm of John M. Creane in Milford.
