HARVEST FESTIVAL TO BE HELD AT OLD TOWN MILL IN NL
New London - Crafters, farmers-market vendors and apple pie-bakers are being sought to participate in a Harvest Festival Oct. 24 at the Old Town Mill.
The City of New London's Office of Development & Planning and the Old Town Mill Preservationists are sponsoring the event, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the mill, located at 8 Mill St.
The Harvest Festival will include an apple pie bake-off, tables with hand-crafted items and farm-fresh produce, activities for children, music, cider and doughnuts and tours of the mill building and grounds.
Pre-registration is required to obtain a free spot for your craft or produce table.
