Four-Car Collision on Route 1

At approximately 4 p.m. today, there was a four-car collision heading north on Route 1. Nobody appeared to be injured. —Nicole Ball
The first car involved was a blue Toyota Corolla which was hit in the rear by a Honda Odyssey. A U.S. Post Office mail truck then hit the Honda and was hit from the rear by a black ML350 Mercedes.
Guilford Police Department (GPD) Sgt. Robert Dube (pictured) said the GPD was investigating the incident.
Traffic was stopped in both directions for about 20 minutes and people exiting the I-95 South ramp at exit 57 were delayed.
