Doctor to talk about cardiac risk

Groton - Dr. Mark Somers, a member of the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital medical staff, will give a talk titled "Taking Your Heart to Heart" at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Groton Senior Center, 102 Newtown Road.

Somers, who is affiliated with Eastern Connecticut Cardiology in Waterford, will address identifying cardiac risk factors and how to treat them, as well as learning the symptoms and current treatment for coronary artery disease.
