New England Science & Sailing to offer safe boating classes

Stonington — New England Science & Sailing on Water Street in the borough will offer another Connecticut Safe Boating course on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

NESS has formed a partnership with Boat Coach USA to offer the course which satisfies state requirements to allow individuals to apply for and obtain a Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate and/or Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation.

NESS provides powerboats and instructors. For reservations, please contact Pam: (860) 535-9362. Participants are asked to bring sunscreen, snacks, water and lunch. Lifejackets are required and will be supplied.
