Westerly - The Westerly Hospital Area Residents Committee and The Westerly Hospital will host a meeting for the public, business and political leaders from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., July 18 at the hospital's Henry J. Nardone Conference Center.

The event, titled "The Westerly Hospital – Looking to the Future," will feature Attorney Mark Russo, the court-appointed special master who will provide an update on the mastership process; Town Manager Steven Hartford, who will briefly outline the role and activity of the Westerly Area Resident's Committee; and Margaret Austin, vice president of clinical services at the hospital, who will discuss new programs there.

Attendees will also have a chance to meet hospital physicians and staff and hear about current and future programs and services. Refreshments will be served.
