    Norwich police arrest man on Oxycodone, marijuana charges

    Norwich – Police seized marijuana and Oxycodone during the arrest Monday of a city man who is on parole for an unrelated narcotics conviction.

    Police charged Adam J. Tinsley, 25, of 44 Spring Garden Ave., with sale of marijuana, possession of Oxycodone, possession of Oxycodone with the intent to sell, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with the intent to sell.

    Norwich police, with assistance from the state parole division, arrested Tinsley around 2 p.m. Monday. At the time of his arrest, police said Tinsley had marijuana and Oxycodone packaged for street-level sales. Police then found more than an ounce of marijuana, some of which was packaged for street-level sales, at Tinsley’s home.

    Tinsley is being held on $200,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Tuesday in Norwich Superior Court.
