2nd Annual Fall Garden Day will take place Sept. 9

Norwich — The second annual Fall Garden Day will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 9 at the New London County Extension Center, 562 New London Turnpike.

The event will include free soil pH tests, short walks and talks on rain gardens, pollination gardens, native plants, willow fences. Exhibits will feature displays on invasive plants, emerald ash borer and composting. Gardeners can also purchase perennial plants and winter rye seed for a winter soil cover crop. UConn Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions and provide printed information.
