Montville — The Dinosaur Place at Nature’s Art will host its 11th annual Monty’s Fall Festival during Columbus Day weekend, which is Oct. 6-8.

The event is hosted by the park’s iconic and gigantic T-Rex, named Monty. All activities — fall crafts, face painting, a magic show, a moon bounce, petting zoo and more — are free with paid admission to the park or with a season pass membership. The park is located at 1650 Hartford-New London Tpk.

During Monty’s Fall Festival, organizers said $1 from the first 500 admission fees will be donated to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital’s breast and cervical cancer early detection program. It provides free mammograms for uninsured and under-insured women. 

Monty’s Fall Festival also includes a concert at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7 by Steve Elci and Friends. Elci is a famed children’s music performer from Waterford. For more information, call 860-443-4367 or visit www.thedinosaurplace.com.
