Mystic -- A 600-square-foot section of roof from the Quality Inn on Route 27 has blown off in the hurricane winds.

Stonington emergency preparedness official George Brennan said no one was injured, and most of the guests are moving to other hotels in the vicinity.

Officials said they expect the roof to continue to peel off during the night.

Old Mystic Fire Department has responded to the scene.

Town Building Inspector Wayne Greene is also at the scene.
