Stonington — As part of Stonington High School’s Health and Awareness Day on Monday, May 20, sophomores will have the opportunity to meet with a variety of wellness professionals in small groups to learn about careers in the fields that interest them.

Twenty-one  professionals from the community have volunteered to share their expertise in areas including medicine, nutrition, nursing, massage therapy, yoga, canine therapy, physical therapy, athletics and recreation, police services, health administration, chiropractic, lab Services and pathology, psychology, and dentistry.

Guest speakers are Al Furtado, Amy Zezulka, Dr. Debbie Sanders, Calla Schon, Dr. David Boisoneau, Eva Sonn, Janet Rose, Jannett Hackett, Jay Mellow, Dr. John Flaherty, Justin Gwaltney, Karin Wuenscher, Kim Baravecchia, Laura Ely, Maggie Korn, Mo White, Molly Holt, Dr. Rebecca Woodward, Sue Peglow, Tom Paige and Dr. Victoria Reyes.
