Cooling center opens at Lymes' Senior Center

Old Lyme – An emergency cooling center is available at the Lymes’ Senior Center at 26 Town Woods Road from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. this week.
Transportation is available through 9 Town Transit. Residents are advised to call (860) 510-0429 if they need assistance in arriving to or from the center.
The Emergency Operations Center Call Line is active. The town is advising residents to call (860) 598-0120 if they have heat-related questions.
The Office of Emergency Management will continue to monitor weather conditions.
