Norwich - The William W. Backus Hospital will host its next Weight Loss and Wellness Program on Thursday evenings starting Aug. 29 and continuing through Dec. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Backus Outpatient Care Center, 111 Salem Turnpike.

The program, which costs $415, includes a personalized assessment and gives people the tools needed to lose weight and keep it off. Backus clinicians will teach participants about goal-setting, meal plans, exercise plans, behavioral change strategies, food diaries, cooking classes, yoga and other techniques.
