Mystic railroad bridge back in service

Mystic - The railroad bridge spanning the Mystic River has reopened to marine traffic after it was closed due to mechanical failure, according to an Amtrak spokesman.
The problem, first reported on Tuesday, prevented the bridge from opening and closing.
Amtrak spokesman Cliff Cole said Wednesday crews were able to make repairs overnight.
