    Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman to lead forum in Norwich on minimum wage

    Norwich – Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman and other state officials will co-host a forum Thursday morning at City Hall on how minimum wage impacts women and workforce development in the state

    Wyman, Teresa C. Younger, executive director of the Permanent Commission on the Status of Women, and Department of Labor Commissioner Sharon Palmer will host the forum from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in room 335 at Norwich City Hall. The Norwich forum on minimum wage and other issues impacting women's economic security is the third in a series of discussions on issues in the state.

    Mayor Deberey Hinchey and women representing businesses and industries across the state also will participate in the forum.
