New London – Lawrence + Memorial Hospital will host a community baby shower for expectant and new parents from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 27 in Baker Auditorium at the main hospital.

The event will provide information about pregnancy and infant care; community resources; hospital programs. Tours of the maternity unit will be offered, and doulas, yoga instructors, massage therapists, photographers and representatives of support groups will be there.

Admission is free; registration is not required.
