Waterford – Unit 3 at the Millstone Power Station began producing power again early Monday morning, after a 36-day routine refueling outage.
Ken Holt, spokesman for Millstone, said Unit 3 was at 40 percent power production just before 5 p.m. Monday, and would be at 100 percent of power production by Wednesday.
Unit 3, which produces 1,200 megawatts of electricity, is the newer and larger of the two operating nuclear reactors at the Millstone site.
