Nature center offers program on black bears

Mystic — Steve Sarnoski, head educator at the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, will present a program about the biology and habits of the American black bear from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on July 10 at the nature center, 109 Pequotsepos Road.
The program will provide information about the historical and current presence and sightings of black bears in southeastern Connecticut and nearby towns in Rhode Island.
Admission is free, but registration is requested.
