These are our “granddogs,” Sydney & Mr. Mackey. Sydney is our spirited but cuddly Jack Russell. She was born in Stockholm, Sweden, during the 2000 Olympics. She has her own Swedish “passport” with her picture and shots. Mackey is much younger, a Boston Terrier. He was born in Budapest, Hungary. They live in Montreal but spend time here in the summer. They are both hockey fans, as they both came from Canadian hockey players who played in Europe. Sydney is getting old, but Mr. Mackey keeps her young. They are both good travelers. During a recent visit to East Lyme, they were both at McCook Beach. Looks like we have some new life guards keeping an eye on things in the off season.
