News: Come check out Aphrodite, the private yacht of Ocean House owner and developer Charles M. "Chuck" Royce that is as well known in local waters as the ferries and fishing boats that regularly ply Long Island and Fishers Island sounds.

Business: After a six-month closure for renovations, the Olde Mistick Village restaurant Go Fish has reopened in a space that is smaller but lighter and more colorful, featuring a new outdoor seating area.

Daybreak: "Flora/Fauna: The Naturalist Impulse in American Art," showcases Impressionist Willard Metcalf's mahogany chest of butterflies, moths, bird eggs and nests he had amassed in Old Lyme, as well as in France. The exhibit runs through Sept. 17 at the Florence Griswold Museum.
