Waterford Public Library hosts author Robert Kim Bingham

Waterford — Waterford Public Library hosts Robert Kim Bingham at 2 p.m. Saturday to discuss his book "Courageous Dissent," which is about his father, Hiram Bingham IV, a holocaust rescuer who was commemorated with a U.S. postal stamp.

Bingham's grandfather, Hiram Bingham III, was an explorer who made public the existence of Machu Picchu in 1911 and served as a U.S. senator.
