Local groups plan diversity workshop in Waterford
Waterford — The Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut and the Southeastern Connecticut Cultural Coalition are hosting a workshop and training opportunity for nonprofit leaders and board members to improve diversity, equity and inclusion.
The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 6 at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford. Executive directors, senior staff and board members of nonprofit organizations are encouraged to attend, along with teams of staff and board members.
The workshop presenter is Jamal Jimerson, the founder and executive director of Minority Inclusion Project Inc.
