Mystic photographer presents ‘On Assignment with National Geographic’

National Geographic photographer and Mystic resident Michael Melford will be at La Grua Center in Stonington at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, to present “On Assignment with National Geographic.”
Melford focuses on conservation, preservation and the beauty of the wild, and he will discuss his trips around the world during his 35-year career.
The presentation, hosted by the Stonington Garden Club, is free and open to the public; this is the only public lecture hosted by the club for the year.
