Mystic student runs Providence Marathon for senior project

For his senior project, Williams School student Adam Mortensen trained for and ran the Providence Marathon on May 6. Seniors at Williams conduct senior projects rather than final exams, and Mortensen, a resident of Mystic, chose to create a documentary to track his training and running of the 26.2-mile race. He completed the marathon in 5:18 after facing a few mental and physical hurdles along the way. In a release, he said he learned a lot from the project.
