Preston senior wins Cynthia Carano Memorial Scholarship

Sydney Kupis, a senior at Norwich Free Academy, received the Cynthia A. Carano Memorial Scholarship award for her essay on her high school AP English Literature teacher Jeffrey Joyce. The award is given to a graduating senior living in Preston in memory of longtime educator Cynthia Carano. Kupis received $1,700 toward her tuition at Eastern Connecticut State University.
