Habitat for Humanity receives grant

Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut recently received a $1,000 grant from the Eastern Savings Bank Foundation to help build a home on Raymond Hill Road in Montville. The home wil be the fourth built in Montville.
Families selected to purchase a home typically earn 30-50 percent of the region’s median income and complete 400 hours of volunteer work to help construct their home. To date, Habitat for Humanity has built 78 homes in eastern Connecticut. For more information, visit habitatect.org.
