The NFIB Connecticut PAC has announced its endorsement of Melissa Ziobron, the Republican candidate for the 33rd Senate District that includes Clinton, Chester, Colchester, Deep River, Essex, East Hampton, East Haddam, Haddam, Lyme, Old Saybrook, Portland and Westbrook.

The NFIB is nonprofit and nonpartisan and is "the leading small-business association in the nation, with thousands of members in Connecticut, representing a cross-section of the state's economy," according to the release.

“I will continue to work to protect small business owners and taxpayers as we turn this state around!” Ziobron, who is currently state representative for the 34th District, said in a statement and thanked NFIB.
