Lily Malinowsky is a fun, loving and energetic 1-year-old from Montville who was recently diagnosed with a rare form of systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis.

Lily was in and out of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center while her parents and loved ones waited for a diagnosis. She requires a very special medication that can be administered only by her doctors at CCMC.

A fundraiser is being held for Lily on Oct. 27 at the Montville VFW Post 10060, which donated the space and the spaghetti dinner. All proceeds are going towards Lily’s medication and medical treatment.

Kids are welcome, and there will be games, raffles and a DJ for entertainment.

Tickets are available at the door or you can purchase prior to the event, which runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person, $10 for kids ages 6-11 and free for kids ages 5 and younger.
