Lyme Land Trust opens new preserve

The Lyme Land Trust will open its newest preserve with a guided walk at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4. Thach Preserve, located at 131 Brush Hill Road, was named in honor of open space advocates Jim and Margaret Thach and features a beaver pond and rocky outcroppings. Forest ecologist Tony Irving will lead the one-mile walk. For more information, email stewardship@lymelandtrust.org.
