Second round of voting on CuriousCT now open

In the second round of voting on CuriousCT, we're asking readers to pick one of these three questions for us to report on next:

    [naviga:ul]

[naviga:li]I've always heard back in the "Big Band Era" that lots of top-name talent visited our area. I'd love to know some of the names and places (I've heard the Morton House, Elms motel) they visited?[/naviga:li]

[naviga:li]Just wondering what's going on with the Capitol Theater downtown, history of it, what year it was last opened, and any chance of it coming back?[/naviga:li]

[naviga:li]Is Mary Hall Road in Pawcatuck named for the first female attorney in Connecticut? Why? [/naviga:li]

    [/naviga:ul]

Voting is open until the end of the day on Feb. 15, and you can vote below or by visiting bit.ly/CuriousCT.

When a winner is selected, a reporter will touch base with the person who submitted the question and then set out to answer it. The result will be a story that will appear in print and on www.theday.com. Questions for future rounds can be submitted at bit.ly/CuriousCT.

The question picked in the first round, on where funds from the state lottery go, will be answered in a story that will be published shortly.

Comment threads are monitored for 48 hours after publication and then closed.
