New London — The city will be milling and repaving certain streets beginning this week.

Contractors will begin work on milling the following streets at 7 a.m. Thursday, May 30:

The process is not expected to create traffic problems, the city said in a release announcing the work, because the milling will allow traffic to continue as normal. Once the milling is finished, repaving will begin, starting in the Bank Street area, the release said.
