CUSH to present annual award to organic land care expert
Stonington — Clean up Sound and Harbors will present Chip Osborne of Osborne Organics, a nationally recognized expert on organic land care, with its SEA STAR award at its annual meeting from 10:30 a.m. to noon June 15 at the Latitude 41 restaurant on Route 27 in Mystic.
Osborne is being honored for his work to transition the Stonington High School baseball field from traditional chemical turf management to organic treatment. Osborne and representatives from The Nature Conservancy will speak and answer questions at the meeting.
