TheCharityChallenge.net and Tamarack Lodge were co-hosts for the inaugural Down N’ Dirty Dash, sponsored July 21 by Mohegan Sun, Joshua’s Limousine and Dime Bank at Tamarack Lodge in Voluntown. More than 100 participants braved 100 degree temperatures to conquer obstacles, crawl through mud, run on trails and even leap through fire. Money raised was to go to Safe Futures, Veterans Rally Point and TriCircle Inc., an organization devoted to help those with substance abuse issues.
