October Fest comes to New London on Sunday

New London — The New London Firefighters Pipes & Drums will be hosting October Fest at City Pier on Sunday.

The event will feature bagpipe band performances, live music by Andre & Eddie & Friends and cornhole. A mobile pub and food trucks will be on site including: Beef Fat Fry Guys, Captain Scott's Lobster Truck and Go Truck Yourself Kitchen.

The New London Firefighters Pipes & Drums will unveil their commissioned painting of the band with the USCGC Eagle by artist Paul Walsh — a well-known and highly respected fire service artist. Prints will be on sale at the event or are included with the purchase of a VIP ticket.

General admission is $10 or $25 for VIP Tickets. Tickets will be available at the event or online at bit.ly/NLOctFest19.

The United States Coast Guard barque Eagle will be at the City Pier and will be open for free tours to the public.
