Stonington schedules special voter registration sessions
Stonington — The registrars of voters will hold a special registration session from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Town Hall.
On Monday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., a limited session will be offered to those whose age, citizenship or residence qualifications were attained since Oct. 29. Anyone with questions can call the registrars at (860) 535-5047 or (860) 535-5054.
In addition, the registrars have announced that District 3 voters will cast ballots on Election Day, Nov. 5 at Deans Mill School.
Voting had been relocated to the borough firehouse since the start of the now completed school renovation project. Voting in elections will now be held at the school while future budget referendum voting will continue at the firehouse.
