    Waterford hosts veterans' coffeehouse

EDITOR’S NOTE: An article published in the Oct. 17 edition of the Waterford Times about the new veterans coffeehouse in Waterford contained incorrect information. The following is a corrected version of the story.

The Town of Waterford has started a veterans coffeehouse led by Jim Reid, a U.S. Marine veteran, with the help of volunteer vets and town officials.

Reid, because of his experience in the service and veteran contacts, was asked by town officials to get the coffeehouse up and running as soon as possible.

Reid was supported by Dani Gorman, director of Waterford Youth and Family Services. Gorman’s team plus volunteers and other town officials, including Jody Nazarchyk, provided considerable support to set up the new coffeehouse.

Waterford’s coffeehouse meets every second Tuesday of the month from 9 to 11 a.m. at 200 Boston Post Road. The next coffeehouse will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12. Speakers will present information on veteran benefits and other veteran matters.

For more information, contact Reid at jreid4351@gmail.com or call (860) 961-0634. Ramps and elevators are available.
