Stonington — There's more to commercial fishing than, well, fishing.

For instance, when the F/V Regulus returns to the Stonington Town Dock after each 10-day fishing trip, the deckhands get to work replacing the worn-out metal parts of the sweep and rock chains that scrape the ocean floor.

The vessel's dredge is used for catching scallops.
