Route 32 in Norwich remains closed after vehicle hits pole
Norwich — A section of Route 32 in Norwich was closed in both directions after an auto carrier hit a pole about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
The pole snapped and power went out to a small section of the city, police said. As of 9:05 p.m., electrical service had been partially restored.
The accident occurred on Route 32 in the area of Everett Street, police said.
The road in that area remained closed late Tuesday night.
