Stonington architect honored by Houzz

Stonington-based Michael McKinley and Associates LLC has been recognized by Houzz as part of the website’s annual “Best Of” awards. The residential architecture firm, which specializes in coastal homes, received an award in the design category.

“Houzz features the work of many talented architects and we are honored to have our architecture selected as among the most popular with the Houzz community,” architect Michael McKinley said in a release.

Mystic resident named a Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance

Lori Cataldi of Mystic, an agent with Gallagher Northeast in Glastonbury, was recently named a Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance by the Aresty Institute of Executive Education at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and insurance company Chubb.

Only 39 agents were certified in the program this year, which requires a year of intensive education through Wharton and Chubb on insurance needs, lifestyle and risk management for individuals and families.
