Stonington offers virus updates by email, senior check-in calls

Stonington — The town is asking people who may not check the town website or Facebook page to sign up for email updates from the town about the coronavirus at UpdateSignup@stonington-ct.gov.

Residents should include their name and preferred email address when signing up.

Residents age 62 and over also are invited to participate in a new program in which they will receive a weekly check-in call, while people are practicing social distancing, from a community volunteer. Call the Human Services Department at (860) 535-5015 for more information.
