Stonington Community Center thrift shop offers online shopping options

Stonington — The Stonington Community Center has launched online sales at its COMO thrift shop and Facebook Live shopping events.

While the thrift shop is closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic, customers can now shop for items online at thecomo.org/shopthrift.

Customers in search of specific items also can schedule a virtual tour of the store with a thrift personal shopper. Curbside pickup and shipping options are available.

The Facebook group “Stonington COMO Thrift Shoppers” hosts live sale videos featuring new items for sale to purchase digitally.

The shop continues to seek donations of gently used items. It is open for curbside donations to be dropped off daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A full list of accepted donations can be found at thecomo.org/thrift. All proceeds go to support the community center and are tax deductible.

Comment threads are monitored for 48 hours after publication and then closed.
