Waterford — One thing the coronavirus pandemic hasn't managed to keep down: the daffodils at Harkness Memorial State Park.
The blooms and mild spring weather have been drawing visitors.
Tim Adkinsand Deedee Piscatella, both of Waterford, said they walk at the park every day that the weather permits.
Similarly, Roger and Johanna Haynes of Salem, walking their dog, Marley, along a path fringed with yellow blossoms Wednesday, said they also go to the park every day that conditions allow. They said they think it's the most beautiful state park in Connectictut.
