Norwich — The planned cleanups of Mohegan Park to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day Wednesday and Arbor Day on Friday have been canceled.

As the park remains open to the public from dawn to dusk, seven days a week, the Mohegan Park Improvements and Development Committee is asking all visitors to respect and practice social distancing, cover coughs and sneezes, wear a nose and mouth cover and dispose of any trash, including gloves and masks, in trash cans provided throughout the park.
