Kindness in Real Life: Shoreline Leos host Care and Share food drive

In the absence of its other fundraising opportunities, members of the Shoreline Leos recently held their third food drive of the summer to benefit Care and Share, collecting nonperishable food and cash donations. The Niantic-based pantry serves residents in East Lyme and Salem, but the ongoing coronavirus pandemic prevented the Leos, under the care of Lions member Jim Harris, from hosting their annual pasta dinner and car washes.

Residents in need and donors wishing to help can call Care and Share at (860) 739-8502 for more information. The pantry is located at 12 Roxbury Road in Niantic.
