Interstate 395 to see lane closures in Montville, Norwich
Motorists on Interstate 395 in the Montville and Norwich area should expect low-speed lane closures this week.
On Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., low-speed lanes will be closed on I-395 exits 9-18, according to a news release Wednesday. On Thursday, I-395 northbound will have lane closures, and on Friday, I-395 southbound will have lane closures.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is conducting fog sealing on the right shoulder of the highway in Montville and Norwich.
Fog sealing, meant to prevent weathering and cracking on roads, is an asphalt emulsion sprayed on roads to increase their longevity.
