Ledyard to host Farmers to Families food distribution Wednesday

Ledyard — The next Farmers to Families food box distribution will be held at Ledyard High School on Wednesday. Boxes will be available from 4:30 to 6 p.m. or until supplies run out.
The drive-thru distribution will be conducted in the high school parking lot and is sponsored by the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut. The food boxes, which include 5 pounds each of meat, dairy and produce as well as a gallon of milk, are available to everyone regardless of residency.
